Fr. Ron Culmer

A priest of the Episcopal church in the Diocese of California, I've been at this now for almost fourteen years. My heart's quest is to live faithfully as possible, loving, knowing, following God loving my neighbor both near and far away, and leading others in doing the same. Let the reader take note: I do not do this perfectly. And, authentic Christianity is messy rather than neat and clean. Perfection is not the name of the game...love of God, neighbor and self is.  I find however, that it is in the struggle of trying to serve faithfully that God quietly and secretly makes changes in us. And I do mean us rather than just me. This world is a complex place and finding our way requires many things, not least of which is each other. As for me, I'll be brief. I serve as Rector of St. Clare's Episcopal Church in Pleasanton, CA. I'm happily married to Diana and have two children, Jonathan and Joshua.
